Northam Holtfreters was established in Northam in 1950, moving to its current site in Mitchell Avenue (formerly Great Eastern Highway) in 1966. The company is a major employer in the Avon Valley and services clients all over Western Australia. Holtfreters was purchased by the Kendall family from the Holtfreter family in 1994. Since that time the company has increased its product range and now offers a very broad range of engineering services and retail supplies. Holtfreters have a comprehensive range of BOC welding and safety equipment, welding consumables, industrial clothing and other gear on display in their showrooms.
